Internet Marketing Advertising Supports Web Design
There are a number of ways in which the population can be segmented for
promotion, one of which is to classify segments according to occupation
and social class - such as higher, intermediate and lower management - or
skilled or semi-skilled labouring - or else the lowest level of subsistence.
Promotion needs to support and be supported by other internet marketing
techniques as well as web design. All marketing tools should be planned as
an integrated part of a total campaign.
It is believed that much of consumer spending is emotional driven to a
degree and therefore consumer goods are often purchased irrationally, which
makes the design of rational marketing systems that much more difficult. To
apply the Pareto principle, those customers who actually purchase can then be
segmented into heavy, medium and light. This information is then used to
target those consumers where increased buying potential has been identified.
When doing web design for internet marketing programs some care does need to
be taken with assumptions about segment that have been classified on the
basis of only one factor. For example people with high gross incomes might
in fact have low disposable income.
Classify the customers into numbers and type and size of firms and their uses
of your product together with information on how it contributes to their
output and its end-users.
