Therefore your unique selling proposition must present your top benefits 
- unique and distinct from your competition. It must be simple, honest 
and provable - and above all it must be communicable to the customer.

In times past somebody could select a business to establish on the basis

successful - and it probably would be.  The problem now it that there 
already is at least one of everything "in town". People actually buy 
emotionally - they don't buy based on the features of your business.

life.

makes your business unique and letting everybody know about it.  
Identify your competitors - find out what they are doing - evaluate 
their unique selling proposition - position yours so it fits in their 
gaps or weak spots. If you have thought of an internet business that 
can solve a specific problem, then your chances of success are pretty 
good.  But even if your business ides is brilliant you still need to 
think about the most important step in the marketing process, which 
is targeting your market.
